You will do this alongside a small cohort of like-minded leaders from a variety of industries where you can feel inspired, learn from each other and grow together.

Program Structure

Two 90-minute calls per month: first is a workshop, second is a peer mastermind.

Workshops

  • Identify the best strategy for your team and set an implementation plan
  • Learn what the research shows and discuss best practices
  • Take action both personally and with your team
  • Determine your action steps for the month

Peer Mastermind

  • Present your ideas to a group of trusted colleagues and get a sense check
  • Discuss challenges and wins
  • Tap into the collective wisdom, diverse perspectives, and experiences of your peers
  • Enhance your problem-solving skills, gain valuable insights, and share your best practices

LeadWell Modules

MODULE 1: Foundational Elements of a Wellbeing Culture

In this first module, we’ll cover the foundational elements required for creating a wellbeing culture. We’ll talk about your role as a leader in bringing about culture change and how to set the right expectations for yourself and your team.

Outcomes: You’ll have an understanding of how to create a wellbeing culture and what is involved in changing the culture of your team.

MODULE 2: Leading By Example​

This module is all about you. We’ll go over the importance of modeling healthy behaviours and discuss the specific areas of your own health that you struggle with. 

Outcomes: You’ll identify your strengths and weaknesses when it comes to your health habits and you’ll select a couple areas to work on this month.

MODULE 3: Psychological Safety and Trust-Based Teams

In this module, we’ll explore what psychological safety is and how you can create a psychologically safe environment. We’ll cover how a trust-based team drives wellbeing and performance.

Outcomes: You’ll learn how to identify the components that make up a psychologically safe environment, your role as the leader, and practical tools and strategies to create or improve this on your team.

Module 4: Team Contract and Norms

In this module, we’ll talk about the spoken and unspoken norms that exist within a team. You’ll explore how these norms impact the culture and wellbeing of your team. We’ll review a framework for creating a team contract.

Outcomes: You’ll increase your awareness of the norms that exist on your team and their impact. You’ll have a template and key questions to ask your team so that you can co-create a team contract.

Module 5: Addressing Internal Risk Factors for Burnout

In this module, we’ll review the shared responsibility of preventing burnout, with a focus on what you can do as a leader. We’ll explore the internal risk factors and identify the areas you have leadership over.

Outcomes: You’ll increase your understanding of burnout and how various factors at the workplace can contribute to it. You’ll understand the role you play in preventing burnout and some areas to focus on improving.

Module 6: Roadblocks and Assess Progress

In this module, we’ll discuss some common challenges that occur when changing a culture and how you can overcome them. We’ll look at practical ways to assess progress and determine next steps.

Outcomes: You’ll learn the common pitfalls of culture change and ways to get past them. You’ll be able to identify progress you and the team have made in creating a culture of wellbeing and determine your next actions.

FAQs

Yes, the sessions will be recorded and sent to you, however, we recommend that you attend as many sessions as possible in person. A key component of your learning comes from your participation during the sessions and the peer-to-peer engagement.

If you can’t attend your regular session time you’re welcome to join in the other cohort’s day/time.

There are a total of 18 hours of program sessions. The monthly workshop and peer mastermind session are 90 minutes each. The time to implement your action assignments will vary; however, we recommend spending the time you need for the assignments in order to see the most benefits.

Yes, the learning material is evidence-based. Lydia has an MBA and is a Certified Workplace Health and Performance Practitioner who has been working in the wellness industry for over 12 years, constantly staying up-to-date on the latest best practices and research. 

No, this program is specifically designed for you to take practical action. Therefore, there is no formal assessment of the material. The action assignments are not marked. They are used for you to put into practice your learning and change the culture on your team. 

We get it. Things happen and you might not be able to start the course. You may transfer your enrolment to someone else before the program starts. However, because of the peer engagement aspect of the program, once the program has started we won’t be able transfer your enrolment to someone else.
